WE’RE LIVE AT THE VIRTUAL MARCH FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Today’s the day! Over the last few months, we have brought together experts, activists and lived experience advocates from around the world to organise a world first - a 24 hr virtual March for Mental Health.

Why? Because it’s time for our leaders to step up and increase investment and access to mental health support.

Globally, there is not enough movement on mental health. Close to 1 billion people across the world have a mental disorder and yet the majority don’t have access to the services that they need. One of the single most powerful ways to bring about change is for people to stand side by side and send a united message to those in power. That’s why, this World Mental Health Day, we are marching for mental health and calling on our leaders to invest.

The march is now live! Over the next 24 hours, we are bringing you live content from 17 countries, plus special hours from leading organisations on LGBTIQ+, inclusion, dementia, youth and humanitarian crises. Familiar faces such as Stephen Fry, the UN Youth Envoy and Ms Universe Philippines will be marching with us as we call for change. Join the movement from the comfort of your own home by joining the Facebook live event.

You can also join in on social media - try out our #MoveForMentalHealth filter on Facebook or Instagram and add our Facebook frame to your profile photo to march wherever you are. Or join in the #MoveForMentalHealth challenge on TikTok!

Now is the moment for our voices to come together and call on the world to invest in mental health. Join us.
